Summer is the ideal season to shop and with the many bargains on adflyer at the moment, you can’t afford to miss out on an extensive range of gorgeous, unique jewellery to suit absolutely any outfit you can think of! If you’re a little bit stuck for ideas and you need the perfect dangly earrings, gold necklace or charm bracelet for that sunny barbecue coming up at the weekend, you’re in luck!  We’re going to tell you all about this season’s jewellery trends so we expect to hear the earrings jangle as you prick back your ears to listen up.

First of all is the chunky necklace! The kinds you see on the catwalk are probably a little too cumbersome for everyday wear, but there are other styles and varieties to choose from that will still achieve a similar look. They’re not ideal items for very, very hot weather, though some chunky beads always look good with a maxi-dress or a cute little sundress! Match this with some chunky bangles in the same colour and you’re away!

Some hoop earrings might carry the spirit of chav, but there are plenty of stylish designs out there that are simply not meant to be WAG chav chic. Avoid the enormous, tacky gold hoops and opt for something a little more elegant. Silver hoops earrings can look perfect with the right outfit, so long as you can’t fit your hand through them!

Try out the bohemian look this summer; bangles and bracelets are a must, accompanied by a bright, vibrant outfit. Earthy coloured bracelets with pretty jewels and sequins make a versatile addition to your jewellery collection. If you’re not fond of the bulkier bracelets or noisy bangles, a pretty tennis bracelet might suit your tastes instead.

Let’s not forget all of the other jewellery you can take a look at, too, anything from diamond rings to stylish hair clips. The world is your oyster!

Of course, no one is suggesting you have to follow the rules when it comes to jewellery. Like all clothes and accessories, it’s all about experimenting and discovering what suits you. Tastes differ from person to person, so try out new styles and ideas and maybe you’ll see it on the catwalk next season!

With the World Cup now well under way, you lads are probably enjoying some evenings spent drinking a few cold beers and…falling asleep, because every match so far has been mind-numbingly boring. Having said that, there is no reason why it won’t improve soon and even if every match ends up being a snoozefest, you can still make the best of a bad match with a few additional games, accessories and food and drink. We’re not suggesting you go as far as turfing any of your rooms to make it look like the penalty box like one particular England fan did recently, but you can do one or two things to keep yourselves entertained in ways that aren’t going to upset the parents, girlfriend, boyfriend wife or husband!

Luckily, the World Cup always goes on during the best time of the year – summer! That means barbecues are aplenty, so you have an excuse to eat delicious, meaty burgers, tantalizing sausages and chunky, hot chips. Having the lads over also provides the perfect oppurtunity to have a few matches of your own on your favourite football game or, if you’re getting tired of the football season altogether, there are plenty of other co-operative and team-playing games to choose from.

If the virtual games aren’t your thing, you might like to play a few board games, table games or get outside running around playing your favourite sport – football or other!

It’s the season to throw a lick of paint on the walls and get decorating. The best thing about decorating during the summer months is you can prop open all the doors if you’re intending to splash the walls with vibrancy and colour and let the fresh, warm air stroll in. There couldn’t be a better time to plan and design your brand new living room, bedroom, dining room or bathroom, so if you’re in search of a little bit of inspiration, then look no further!

Bathrooms aren’t to be overloaded. So long as you stick to clean and uncluttered, you can’t go wrong. As with any room you want to redecorate, one of the most successful ways to get started is by deciding on a colour scheme and match your purchases to it. Bathrooms are also one of the easiest rooms to redecorate as most of the furniture is already in place. Think new rugs, shower curtains, toiletry stands, mirrors and one or two little ornaments for wide windowsills and shelves.

Any other room in the house will be following a similar pattern. Decide on a colour scheme or a theme first of all and work from that. For instance, if you wanted a nautical theme for your bedroom, search out some examples of nautical interior design, check out the colours and pick your favourites! If you took blue and white, that gives you your basic colour scheme. All you need to do then is match your table lamps, light fittings, duvets, pillows, cushions or any other furniture accessory or home furniture item to the colours you’ve chosen. You don’t have to find the exact colour; complimentary shades will work just as well.

Redecorating your home is easy when you know where to look, so brighten up your home with a little help from adflyer!
